From Chaos to Clarity: Mind Mapping Your Family History

Are you stuck staring at scattered notes and research dead ends? Mind mapping might be the game-changer you’ve been looking for.

This visual planning technique has helped researchers for centuries organise complex information - and it’s perfect for untangling family history puzzles. Whether you prefer simple sketches or detailed diagrams, mind maps transform chaotic research into clear, actionable plans.

In this hands-on presentation, you’ll discover how to use mind mapping at every stage of your research journey: from initial planning and problem-solving to reporting your findings. Through real examples, you’ll see how this visual tool can help you break through brick walls, spot conflicting information you might have missed, and identify gaps in your research strategy.

Learn how to employ this powerful new tool in your genealogy toolkit - one that turns overwhelming research projects into manageable, visual roadmaps to success.
