Annual "Show and Tell" and
William Gunther Award
This is where GUM members can make a presentation whether it be a story, maybe a book, maybe a project of what you have been up to genealogy wise. The winner, as judged by the audience in a secret ballot, will receive a valuable prize of a year’s subscription to Ancestry donated by Ancestry.com.au.

CANBERRA - Getting the best out of Family Tree Maker a genealogy software seminar

A VicGUM presentation by John Donaldson & Doug Elms.
John and Doug will cover the latest FTM 2017 update with demonstrations and practical hints for using Family Tree Maker to record your family history information.
The presentation will also include information about places, media, sources, reporting, charts and book preparation.
Heraldry & Genealogy Society of Canberra (HAGSOC) has a FTM Users Group that can support you in a collaborative setting.
