Reunion 9 for the Macintosh |
Reunion Full Version is for the Macintosh and only comes on CD ROM, which also contains the manual in electronic form, there is no printed manual. Note, to run Reunion 9 you will need Mac OS X 10.3.9 or newer.
Reunion 9 Upgrades are only available directly from Leister Pro, contact them to upgrade your previous version of Reunion. If you bought Reunion 8 after 15 November 2006 then you are eligible for a free upgrade to Reunion 9, visit the Leister Pro web site for details on how to obtain your upgrade.
This new version of Reunion has full native support for Intel and PPC Macintosh computers, Pod cards, Treetops, Last Names list, spell checking as you type in data, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for the web, drag and drop for people and sources, Unicode support, import and export multimedia links in GEDCOM files, a number of Index and List enhancements, Family Card enhancements, additional Multimedia support, create Slideshows and many more enhancements. This version of Reunion for the MAC is a major upgrade which includes OS X Native support as well as OS 8.5 to 9.2 - two different applications on the one CD optimised and designed for its native OS.
Many new features have also been added to the existing comprehensive capabilities of Reunion 7. This includes new charting features, more columns in lists, dynamic and flexible numbering systems, optional parenthetical list of ancestors in register reports, enhanced LDS support, optional display of children in a list instead of buttons, enhanced source reporting, option to automatically include pictures in reports sent to your word processor, expanded colour palette, index and Table of Contents word processor codes embedded in reports, PNG picture file support, enhanced search capabilities and many more enhancements.
